Эстония-Латвия-Россия. Восстановление парков, как неотъемлемой части исторического наследия

International project:

«Estonia-Latvia-Russia. Restoration of parks, as an integral part of the historical heritage» 

  Memorial estate “Rozhdestveno” is a participant in the international project « Estonia Latvia Russia.  Regeneration of Parks as Integral Part of Historical Heritage”. Estonia, Latvia and Russia have extensive list of cultural heritage sites. Parks estates are an integral part of all these objects. In the future parks can serve not only as a seating area for local residents, but will also support economic activity in the region, attracting visitors passing in the parks concerts, festivals, markets, which will be presented products of local craftsmen. Parks is a tourist product components for local and foreign tourists.

 Project applicant is Vidzeme Tourism Association (Latvia) which has extensive experience in project management, to create a network and to attract local participants.

         The partners are:

         Gulbene Municipality Council (Latvia)

         Estonia - Räpina Municipality

         Russia - The State Budget Institution of Culture of the Leningrad region "Museum Agency."

  The project promotes the idea of the benefits of rural life and the preservation of traditional crafts. The project also contributes to the local identity, values increase in living standards, enhance cooperation in the conservation of historical and cultural heritage and the interaction between different cultural spheres of the participating regions.

June 19th  2013 in Turaida, Latvia - project kick-off meeting

On August 13 and 14, 2013 - Project Green Heritage Partners meeting and EstLatRus Programme Workshop was held. The seminar was held in the cultural center Gors which was opened this year in the heart of Rezekne, Latvia. During the two days the representatives of the Joint Technical Secretariat were amply stating the details of conducting the Project, answering questions, holding thematic lessons and regaling participants with tasty meals. In the course of the seminar Partners have outlined the next steps on the Project implementation.

On September 17, 2013 -  memorial estate “Rozhdestveno” hosted project partners from Latvia and Estonia. Head of the Department of Culture of the Gatchina district-Mkrtchyan D. A. warmly welcomed the guests at the Gatchina land. Our partners from Estonia and Latvia have plunged into the atmosphere of a country noble house, walked along the alley of the park, visited the caves and  the Sant wellspring.


On September 18, 2013 -
 in St. Petersburg in Elagin Palace Museum The meeting agenda for the Project “Regeneration of Parks as Integral Part of Historical Heritage” was held, on which the project partners and colleagues in the museum field and Monument Protectionexchanged experiencesin terms of preserving and popularizing objects of cultural heritage
